Devlog 6: More production!!!
Programmers:
This week marks our second week in the production phase, we're still going strong! Our team has been working hard to rebuild the core systems from our prototype. That means we're revisiting things you've already seen—but this time, we're doing it right, with better structure to support future updates and the bigger plans we have for the game.
Art:
This week, we continued production and made solid progress across multiple areas. We wrapped up several models and moved forward with animations and visual effects. The vacuum cleaner received a small update to improve its looks, and the backpack is now fully modelled with all four stages completed. The main character is fully rigged and animated, with only minor clean-up left before it's final. Both traps have their animations finished as well and are ready to be implemented into the game. Overall, things are moving along smoothly as we head into the next phase of development.
We also made the different sized nuclear debris piles and the collection container in the centre of the level. The debris piles are modelled after the graphite tips that were scattered across the roofs of Chernobyl.
