Devlog 7: Taking shape
We're excited to announce that we've completed a full game loop! Players can now experience a complete round with limited time. A significant milestone as it means the core gameplay experience is taking shape.
The game now starts when every player stands in the middle section of the starting level. Once all players are in position, one player will be randomly selected as the imposter. If you feel your controller vibrate, congratulations-you've been chosen as the imposter! This subtle notification ensures only you know your role, keeping the mystery alive for everyone else.
While we've made great progress, our end game sequence is still under development. Soon, players will be able to cast votes for who they suspect is the imposter.
On the art side, we made some final changes to the layout of our level, made some extra decoration for the factory and were finally able to start texturing. It's far from finished, but it certainly makes a big difference. We also started on the vfx and have a little explosion whenever one of the robots meets its unfortunate end.
